Yesterday, when I woke up after my night routing, I noticed I followed a very different route compared to nearby leaders. I double checked the wind conditions (speed and direction) on both the Zezo chart and the Zezo grib files I opened in Qtvlm and I noticed a difference of about 5° and 1kt.

VrZen and the Zygrib files available on Qtvlm were the same as the zezo grib files but were different from the zezo chart, the Sailgrib4VR chart and the ingame chart which all showed the same wind conditions.

This is weird because I thought the all.grib file available on http://zezo.org/grib/gribv1 was the file used by zezo for its routing but it looks like it isn't the case.

Maybe someone could explain how this is possible as I have no clue.

There was an update which switched some but not all boats from sailing longer NE and a later gybe to doing a few shorter gybes. Boats already further north were still routed out and I think some decided to keep going that way or did not check that update I suppose.

Looks like you did a similar route to me and I feel I gained a little since then.

Could the difference you saw be that you were looking at zezo in the first hour after the update before it switches fully to the new forecast gribs?
