Hello everyone.

My problem with a basic example : I choose to do a new route at let's say 19:00

The problem is :

- The game has for example a TWS of 10.5 kt at 19:00

- Zezo says that the TWS will be 10.5 kt at 19:10

Which means there is a 10-minute gap between Zezo's prediction and the actual TWS

Is it normal?

Thanks in advance,

ParadizeAgro.

No, it doesn't mean there's a 10-minute gap. The wind speed could be simply constant, for example.

Or the game could be displaying incorrect wind speeds. Which in fact it often does.

Thing is, in real world the router is strategic too. You use it to avoid a high pressure system a week ahead, and that's it. You don't expect your boat instruments to show the same data as the GRIB file.

In the virtual world we get used to the data being exactly the same, but it does not really matter. You should be fine as long as the data is in sync, you are at the polar sweet spot and going in the approximately the same direction as suggested. It might even better NOT to follow the router down to the minute.
