What is the difference between the red and blue predicted tracks.I know that the green line is associated with the lock on the course setting compass but if it's unlocked which direction should I use. I am currently West of Cape Horn.

red line = loxodrome, blue line = great circle (FR rouge : loxodromie / bleue : orthodromie)

Yep. Blue is the straight line, red is the rhumb line and the difference is quite visible at 55 degrees latitude.

You can follow the blue line in the game by placing a waypoint in certain distance and direction.
