Ooops. At first I copied the Muscat race with the 80% performance polars, but it seems that this race uses 100% performance. Fixed.

It looks like one could do pretty well with just a C0 and foils.

Maybe light sails too.

being somewhat local light sails would definitely beneficial going down the Philippines coast as the wind generally dies down especially arriving in the morning.

It's starting to look tempting to try this with two waypoints, foils, C0, set it and forget it. No sailchanges, tacks, gybes, or course changes. Wouldn't win, but probably wouldn't finish poorly.

Hi Cvetan,
The time change from CET to CEST is not effective on the race.

It is just the label. Numbers should be correct.

It's good now, thanks ;)

So close! Go go go!

Congrats on the 2, Cvetan!!!!
If I had been in 1 with you behind, I'd have fumbled a sailchange to C0 to let you pass. But with Speedo ahead, I pushed hard to the finish instead, and you beat me anyway. Perfect tactics at the end. Speedo had us both anyway.

Thanks. I realized that they've moved the finish point too, just in time to ease a bit.
A perfect result for me, given that the race was not top priority because of real-life issues I had to attend to. But sometimes the boat runs better if you don't overdo the controls, I guess. And second still gets 85% of the winner VSR points ;-)
