Looks like VR updated the winning track for the first place boat in the JVT from Rogstar2 to Barnum, but it doesn't start until after the third gate. I'm still in the south Atlantic so I have no point of reference.

Am I missing something or is this just a glitch on VR's part?

Exactly, what I thought. A completely useless screw-up by VR to change the Rogstar track to a half baken one. No use at all, as the synchronisation lacks now.

And on top of that the shadow Barnum isn't even moving on the track or synched with my start.

I think that at VR they do not really look into the game to see if it works. They programming it and then wait for the complaints to come.
