It looks like the natural preferred route goes that way, so no real need for a mark.

You might get slightly better results for the first day or so by placing a manual waypoint somewhere North of Scotland, but the exact position does not really matter.

Just keep an eye on the Isle of Tiree. It's too small for the router to avoid it properly.

Do you still have problems?

It's possible that the game time stamp had been at a point past the start time once, and my site does not fetch data if it has recent position. Recent means "within the past 10 minutes" but unfortunately "1 day ahead" also matches the criteria.

It's hard to tell now, but I've seen it happen before.
