I don't see why going due north just west of the 2-0 West Long isn't the best way to get clear of Saint Peter Port and back into the channel. Don't know why you didn't choose that?

Order of jibes should not matter, but timing does, and I'll be away from the computer in the next 2 hours ;)

I'd probably go north of the island in the first place, but went too much to the south while answering support question.

The good news is that the 12Z GFS still shows stronger winds at the French side tonight
